Making Quilted Coats

Quilted Coat Construction - Summer 2026

Our quilt group will be dedicating July, August, and September 2026 to making quilted coats. We need to know how many people will be participating in making a quilted coat in these 3 meetings.
Please click on the "Sign Up Today" button (at right) to indicate your intention to make a quilted jacket with the help of a pattern (one of the below you will need to purchase) and guidance from experienced garment makers in our group.
If you buy the pattern in PDF format, it is recommended that you get the pattern printed via https://pdfplotting.com/ and they will mail you the printed pattern.
If you buy the pattern and it is physically mailed to you, it will come already printed for your sewing needs.

This is a pattern extension (not a coat pattern) to help you make the modern patchwork design on the coat itself, plus the coat pattern.
You need to buy 2 patterns -- the Etched Diamond Quilt pattern listed above PLUS the Hovea or the Hovea Curves pattern.
This beginner-friendly modern patchwork pattern has you add your own flair to the back and pockets of your Hovea View D coat. The quilt pattern extension is specifically designed with this model in mind and is suitable for both the Hovea and the Hovea Curves patterns.
